SOUTH RIVER – A 41-year-old female resident of Waianae, Hawaii, had charges lodged against her after she reportedly broke into a house on Hillside Avenue and allegedly threatened its occupants with a loaded handgun.
South River police officers responded to the home around 4:14 a.m. on April 18, according to information provided by the South River Police Department.
Upon their arrival, the officers were advised by the residents that a woman reportedly entered their home and said she had a loaded handgun. The woman allegedly threatened to use the gun if the residents did not give her money, according to police.
During their search of the area, the officers reportedly located a woman outside the house crouching behind a vehicle that was parked in the driveway, according to the statement.
