Michael Dworzak of Howell was recognized for academic achievement at the Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., Spring Awards and Recognition Ceremony. Michael, who is a graduate of Howell High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in chemistry in ACS chemistry and received the Undergraduate Award in Organic Chemistry from the American Society, Division of Organic Chemistry.
The following area residents were recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest all-discipline collegiate honor society: Jenna Knapp of Howell, Danielle Demateis of Jackson and Nicholas Mack of Jackson were all initiated at The College of New Jersey, Ewing.
Nicholas Lorenzo of Howell is the recipient of the Walter S. Carpenter Scholarship in Engineering at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. The scholarship is presented to incoming freshmen planning on majoring in electrical engineering, engineering management or environmental engineering.
The following Jackson residents were recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest all-discipline collegiate honor society: Megan Gallagher was initiated at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and Kayla Glaser was initiated at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
