MANALAPAN – The Township Committee has renewed liquor licenses that are held by corporations and clubs in Manalapan.
Committee members took the action during a recent meeting. The liquor licenses were renewed from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
The following licenses were renewed: Knob Hill Bowling, LLC (Country Lanes); Battleground Country Club, LLC (Battleground Country Club); Yesha & Yash Inc. (Gordon Corners Liquors); Apple Food Service of Manalapan, LLC (Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar); K&L Brothers Inc. (Peking Pavilion); Molly Pitcher Post 434 American Legion (Molly Pitcher Post 434).
Also, Yorktowne Club Inc. (Yorktowne Club); Mainbrook Tavern Inc. (Mainbrook Tavern); Vive Naini, LLC (Vingo Wine & Spirits); JWG Fine Wines & Spirits Inc. (JWG Fine Wines & Spirits); Bonefish Grill, LLC (Bonefish Grill); Knob Hill Golf Course Inc. (Knob Hill Golf Club); and Yuse BT Enterprises Inc. (Locals Bar).
In other action, committee members renewed an inactive plenary retail consumption license that is held by OST Ent. LLC (Old Silver Tavern).
According to a resolution, the township received a special ruling dated May 13, 2019 from the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control for a two-year term of 2019-20 and 2020-21 stating that good cause exists for consideration of the corporation’s renewal application.
With that ruling in hand, committee members renewed the OST Ent. LLC inactive license for the license term 2019-20.
Finally, the governing body hired two police officers for the Manalapan Police Department.
Ryan Brady has been appointed as a probationary police officer for a one-year term, contingent upon satisfactory medical and psychological testing and the completion of any required training.
Scott Rindsberg has been appointed as a probationary police officer for a one-year term, contingent upon satisfactory medical and psychological testing and the completion of any required training.
