Hopewell police blotter 7/12

A 17-year-old boy was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a police officer saw the juvenile and two other boys near the turf athletic fields on the Lawrenceville-Pennington Road at 11:48 p.m. on June 25 and stopped to investigate.

An assortment of items, valued at a combined $16,000, were reported stolen from a Pleasant Valley Road home. Police responded to a burglar alarm on June 16 and discovered that the house had been entered through an unlocked door.

A 37-year-old Morrisville, Pa., man was charged with driving while intoxicated, assault by auto and other motor vehicle violations after he was involved in a two-car crash on State Highway 29 at 6:07 p.m., June 18. The occupants of the second car suffered moderate injuries and were treated by medical personnel.

A 45-year-old Trenton woman who was wanted on an outstanding warrant was turned over to Hopewell Township police by the East Windsor Township Police Department at 4:17 a.m. on June 27.

A 34-year-old Hopewell Township man was arrested on an outstanding traffic warrant form Ewing Township after police responded to his home at 2:28 p.m. on June 21 for an investigation.

A 28-year-old Belle Mead woman was charged with driving while intoxicated and other motor vehicle violations by police, who were investigating a suspicious incident on Pennington-Rocky Hill Road at 12:07 a.m. on June 22.

A 45-year-old Massachusetts woman was charged with possession of marijuana after she was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Scotch Road at 11:37 p.m., June 14. While he was investigating the motor vehicle violation, the police officer smelled marijuana coming from the car and discovered the passenger had marijuana in her possession.
