Edison police are putting a refreshing summertime twist on “Coffee with a Cop,” offering cold lemonade, lemon ice, and sparkling conversation to township residents from 3-5 p.m. on July 11 off Oak Drive in Roosevelt Park near the lake.
On hand will be Police Chief Thomas Bryan, Police Capt. Ken Schreck, Police Lt. Robert Dudash, Police Officer Keith Jackson and other members of the police command staff.
“This is a casual way for community residents to chat with their police officers, offer us ideas or express their concerns,” Bryan said. “We hope this will be a relaxed, refreshing way for youngsters, their parents and our seniors to enjoy a nice summer afternoon in the park.”
