CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, has opened the Statesir Memory Care Center at Applewood, a dementia and Alzheimer’s center featuring individualized, 24/7 care under the supervision of licensed practical nurses. This new center is the latest addition to CentraState’s senior living and services portfolio that includes independent and assisted living, short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, as well as medical care and programs designed to provide care for every age and condition. The Statesir Memory Care Center will provide individualized therapeutic and recreational activities for residents. The center is named in honor of Applewood residents John and Audrey Statesir, whose donation in honor of John’s mother helped make this new center possible.
