At Temple Emanu-El of Edison, our Religious School curriculum is designed to create a love of Judaism and provide children with the skills to live as well-informed Jews.
Our program extends from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The Reform curriculum includes modern and prayer Hebrew, Bible, holiday observances, rituals and ethics, and the rich history that surrounds our culture. Our students also learn to lead parts of the worship service and our programs are further enhanced through music and art. We are also proud to offer special education classes.
Becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah at Temple Emanu-El represents the attainment of a significant level of Jewish knowledge through individualized study. Post Bar/Bat Mitzvah students continue their studies through confirmation and high school. Adults find many opportunities to continue Jewish learning.
Join us for our open house at 7 p.m. on Aug. 23 for a family-friendly Shabbat Under the Stars service. Note that grades K-2 and 8-12 are open to non-temple members and we have incentives for new members. We will facilitate communication for carpools.

We are located at 100 James St, Edison.
