Tutor charged with inappropriately touching teen did business in South Brunswick

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – South Brunswick detectives have joined the investigation into a math tutor who was charged last week in Plainsboro for allegedly inappropriately touching a 15-year old student.

The 65-year-old from East Windsor was charged on July 31 with one count of aggravated criminal sexual contact in the third degree, one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the third degree, and one count of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree, according to a statement provided by Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka.

Detectives learned the man has tutored in the South Brunswick area in the past, according to reports. In some cases he tutored in area homes. The Plainsboro investigation determined that on July 28 he allegedly inappropriately touched a 15-year-old during a tutoring session, according to the statement. The contact allegedly took place at his place of business, the KASR Capital Academy, located at 666 Plainsboro Road, Suite 1175 in Plainsboro.
