Join The Giving Bookshelf for its second annual Bookshelf Building Event from 1-5 p.m. on Sept. 7 at Rita’s Ice, Edison Shopping Center, 2303 Woodbridge Ave., Edison. Rain date is Sept. 15.
Receive volunteer hours while building, painting or sanding bookshelves.
Donate $1 to have your name added to The Giving Bookshelf Tree. Bring a book and receive a coupon to Rita’s. Scouts will receive a free topping when wearing a sash or vest.
