North Brunswick Library events include storytime, book club

The following submissions are for the North Brunswick Library, 880 Hermann Road, North Brunswick:

  • A card making and wall art workshop will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Sept. 9. A die cut machine will be used. Registration is required by visiting forms.gle/aH3PYoEJEgFWWYiD6.
  • Story Tots for children ages 1-2 will be held at 10:15 a.m. on Sept. 10. There will be stories, songs and crafts. For parents and caregivers as well. No registration necessary.
  • Alphabet Soup for ages 3-5 will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 10. Interactive storytime combines stories, rhymes and activities for preschool children. Registration is not necessary.
  • The Thursday Afternoon Book Club will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. on Sept. 12. The reading is “The Chosen” by Chaim Potok. Copies of the book are available at the front desk. Registration is not necessary.
  • A DaVinci STEAM Club for children ages 9-12 will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Sept. 12. Focuses on science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. Registration is required by calling 732-246-3545.
  • Take a crash course in tweaking your resume from 3-4 p.m. on Sept. 13. Registration is required by calling 732-246-3545.
  • Kanopy Movie Matinee: Megan Leavy will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sept. 14. Based on the true life story of a young Marine corporal whose unique discipline and bond with her military combat dog saved many lives during their deployment in Iraq. Bring your own refreshments.
