The Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership’s annual Water Wheels Bicycle Tour of the Lawrence Brook Watershed is set for Sept. 14. Registration begins at 8 a.m., followed by the ride at 9 a.m. from LBWP headquarters, 85 Washington Ave., Milltown.
The fun, informative 26-mile bike ride with optional add-on loops travels through rural areas and focuses on natural and historical features of the watershed.

The next membership meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 17. Roger Dreyling will speak about “Birds of Monroe & the Wider Environment.”
The October meeting will be held on Oct. 15 with guest speaker Mary Ellen Schwendeman Davis discussing “Invasives to Avoid vs. Native” vegetation.
