Allison Kovacs of Manalapan, who is studying management/sports management at Widener University, Chester, Pa., is one of nine undergraduate students who have been named Millennium Fellows through a highly selective national leadership development program presented by the United Nations Academic Impact and the Millennium Campus Network. Fellows were chosen for their leadership acumen and their history of generating ideas that complement the United Nations sustainable development goals’ intent to transform the world. The leadership development experience is intended to improve the students’ skills at student organizing, partnership building and making a community impact – all as they bring life to their individual projects.

John Loyer of Freehold, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck, has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in individualized studies.
Alexandra Coviello of Colts Neck was among the 75 University of Scranton, Pa., students who studied abroad during the Summer 2019 semester. Alexandra, who is a health administration major at Scranton, participated in the university’s travel courses, “Intensive Italian Abroad” and “Dante’s Inferno and the Florence of His Times” in Florence, Italy.
Jessica Kaplan of Marlboro, a member of the Class of 2022 at Colgate University, Hamilton, N.Y., has earned the spring 2019 dean’s award with distinction. Jessica is a graduate of Colts Neck High School.
