ENGLISHTOWN – Three Republican members of Englishtown’s governing body are running unopposed for new terms in the Nov. 5 election. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Councilmen Dan Marter and Gregory Wojyn are seeking new three-year terms on the Borough Council. Their new terms will run from Jan. 1, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2022.
Thomas Reynolds, who has been mayor since 2000, is seeking a new four-year term that will run from Jan. 1, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2023.
Marter has been a member of the council since 2017. Wojyn has been a member of the council since 2011.
In 2016, the last time Marter and Wojyn ran for office, they were unopposed in the general election. Reynolds was unopposed in the general election when he last ran for office in 2015.
All of the members of Englishtown’s municipal government are Republicans. Marter and Wojyn are joined on the council by Daniel Francisco, Maryanne Krawiec, Eric Mann and Cecilia Robilotti.
