HELMETTA – Christopher Slavicek will remain the mayor of Helmetta, having received 100 percent of the votes during the general election on Nov. 5.
Slavicek ran under the Aligning Helmetta’s Future party. There was no Democratic opponent.
For Borough Council, Ronald Dzingleski and Joseph W. Reid, who also ran under Aligning Helmetta’s Future, received 263 and 282 votes, respectively.
Republicans Vincent Asciolla and James Misner received 138 and 121 votes, respectively.
There were no Democratic opponents for council.
For the Spotswood-Helmetta Board of Education, William H. Smith Jr. and William J. Loschiavo were elected to three-year terms. Smith received 812 votes/53 percent, while Loschiavo recorded 732 votes/47%.
