JAMESBURG – Marlene Lowande was chosen by Jamesburg residents to serve a four-year mayoral term during the general election on Nov. 5.
The Democratic incumbent mayor was not challenged by any Republicans; she received 459 votes, 100 percent of the total.
Two, three-year terms were open on the Borough Council. Democrats Laura Czarneski, Samantha Rampacek and Shannon Spillane were not challenged by any Republicans.
Rampacek received 437 votes/37%. Czarneski received 409 votes/34%. Spillane received 351 votes/29%.
Election results are according to the Middlesex County Board of Elections and are unofficial until certified.
