Hackensack Meridian Health has opened The Villas, a boutique, luxury senior living community on Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan. The Villas offers seniors highly coordinated care and provides nutrition, fitness and entertainment options. The Villas features 95 luxury apartments on three floors and is designed for flexible living options to serve specific needs: The first floor has 25 apartments and is geared toward independent living; The second floor has 34 apartments and offers assisted living programs; The John Lloyd Health Care Center on the third floor features 34 apartments and provides a higher level of care for assisted living, memory care and nursing care services. The Turning Point restaurants hosted a weekend fundraiser on Nov. 2-3 to benefit LADACIN Network, which serves more than 3,500 infants, children and adults with complex physical and developmental disabilities or delays in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The Turning Point locations in Manalapan, Long Branch, Little Silver, Holmdel, Brick Township and Sea Girt hosted “Eat, Drink and Be Caring … Serving the Mission of LADACIN Network.” This was the 14th annual event hosted by the Turning Point and $21,678 was raised over the weekend. An overall total of $203,574 has been raised since the event began in 2007. Kirk and Pam Ruoff are the owners of the Turning Point.
