The acoustic pop and rock duo Vinyl Traction will perform at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the Old Bridge Public Library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, as part of the monthly Second Saturday Concert Series.
The duo consists of Middletown residents Robert Lafferty and Frank Tota who perform classic rock songs from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, featuring driving rhythm and bass guitar and harmonizing vocals.

Dropkick Depression is a non-profit organization focusing on mental health awareness and assisting individuals in securing finances for mental health assistance, including therapy and medication.
There will be a wrestling fundraiser from 7-10 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the Knights of Columbus, 61 Pine St., Old Bridge. During the event will be a winter clothing drive to assist local individuals experiencing homelessness.

The Jamaica Organization of New Jersey (JON-J) will hold its annual Pre-New Year’s Ball from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Dec. 28 at The Imperia, 1714 Easton Ave., Somerset.
Proceeds benefit the organization’s scholarship fund for awards to local high school graduates who are going on to college and for a donation to Hampton School in Jamaica towards infrastructure improvements.

“Breakfast with Santa” will be held on Dec. 14 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 367 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
There will be a homemade breakfast of eggs, sausage, pancakes, and hot and cold beverages served from 8:30-10:30 a.m., with Santa arriving at 10:30 a.m. to meet and greet the children.
Tickets will be sold at the door: $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 3-12, and free for children age 2 and under.
A magic show, face painting and other special treats are included.
In addition, the Women of Trinity will offer Santa’s Bake Show with an abundance of homemade goods as well as handcrafted gift items for purchase.

Sayre Woods Bible Church will hold its annual Drive Through the Christmas Story from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 14-15 on the church property, 2290 Route 9 south, Old Bridge.
Due to the popularity of this event, there may be a wait of up to two hours. Cars go through in the order of arrival and are parked in rows.
There are activities inside while patrons wait; attendees will be called 10-15 minutes prior to starting the tour.
Entry is closed at 8 p.m., or when the maximum car limit has been reached.
Monetary donations and unexpired canned food donations will be accepted for the church’s Bread of Life Food Bin, which serves dozens of families monthly.
