Pravalika Surkanty of Morganville has graduated with Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Campbellsville University, Campbellsville, Ky. Commencement ceremonies were held on Dec. 6.
Samantha Golub of Marlboro participated in Emerson Stage production of “10 Out of 12” at Emerson College, Boston, Mass. from Nov. 21-24. Samantha is pursuing a degree in Theatre Education and Performance and is a member of the Class of 2021. She was credited as assistant director.
Kutztown University, Kutztown, Pa., has awarded 137 President’s Academic Honors Scholarships for the 2019-20 academic year, including to Samantha Mikos of Freehold. The scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who have a 3.25 cumulative weighted high school GPA and a 1,270 total on the SAT or a 27 composite on the ACT. The student will receive $1,000 per year for four years as long as the student participates in the Honors program and completes a minimum of 30 credits per year.
Erin Walsh of Englishtown was featured in Lasell University and Regis College’s production of Children of Eden in Newton, Mass. Erin, a Lasell University student studying fashion design and production, played a storyteller in the production. The cross-campus cast explored the story of Adam and Eve (Act I) and Noah’s Ark (Act II) while developing strong relationships and adding depth to their professional networks.
East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania announced that the following area residents received degrees during the winter commencement ceremony on Dec. 14: Alexa Crimeni of Morganville and Sean Powers of Freehold.
Julia Tropper of Englishtown graduated from Flagler College, St. Augustine, Fla., on Dec. 14 at its fall commencement exercises.
