Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber has a new chair of the board, Brenda Ross-Dulan.
Ross-Dulan was inducted as the new chair during Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber’s 2020 Changing of the Guard ceremony on Jan. 28.
According to chamber officials, the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization committed to promoting business growth within the central New Jersey and Mercer County regions.
The organization has more than 8,000 individual member contacts and 1,500 member companies
“As Chairman of the Board these past two years, I am grateful to Peter Crowley, my fellow Board members, the staff and members of the Chamber for the opportunity to lead this great organization. I am excited to pass on a Chamber that is well positioned for future successes as Champions for Business to Brenda Ross-Dulan,” said the former chair, John Goedecke. “My predecessors Rick Coyne, Pat Ryan, and John Thurber all provided me guidance and were examples of leadership that our region can be proud of producing.”
He predicted that he knows that they can expect the same of Ross-Dulan and her executive team.
Ross-Dulan is principal of The Ross-Dulan Group, a strategy consulting firm designed for CEOs and executives.
Prior to launching her consulting practice, Ross-Dulan served as president of the consumer banking group of Wells Fargo and Company for half of New Jersey.
Ross-Dulan leverages her 25-year career in the financial services industry to help leaders successfully navigate beyond the “status quo.”
Brenda has been ranked as one of the nation’s most powerful women in corporate America by Black Enterprise Magazine, according to chamber officials.
“We are excited to have Brenda as Chair of our organization, and continue our path of growth as the largest Regional Chamber in the State. In addition, we are honored that Brenda is the first African American woman to this role and we look forward to her goals and initiatives in her term ahead,” said Peter Crowley, president and CEO of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber.
Ross-Dulan explained that that she is focused on helping lead the organization to new frontiers.
“I look forward to joining the Chairs before me in leading this great organization to new heights. Our initiatives include focusing on diversity and inclusion, leveraging technology to bring the Chamber to our members’ fingertips, and enhancing our philanthropic efforts while continuing to support our growth and membership base,” Ross-Dulan said.
