The Monmouth Museum appointed four new trustees.
During the meeting of the board of trustees in February, Scott Schwadron, Shari Scaramuzzo, Adithya Bathena and Larry Buccheri were named as new trustees to the museum that is located in Lincroft.
Executive Director Donna Kessigner commented on the appointments.
“We are excited to have Scott, Shari, Adithya, and Larry join our board. They each bring expertise in their profession, a commitment to the local community, and enthusiasm for the Museum’s initiatives.”
Schwadron, a long-time resident of Colts Neck, is a business leader in the Monmouth County community. He has founded several local media and marketing companies including: Living In Media, Living In Marketing and HumanizeMD (.com). Currently, Mr. Schwadron is the Chief Executive Officer of Bury The Hatchet/Amazing Escape Rooms, overseeing 23 locations of this Indoor Family Recreation enterprise. He is married 21 years to his wife and business partner Sara Hylan and has 2 teenagers, Parker and Serena.
Scaramuzzo is Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the Colts Neck branch of Investors Bank. Ms. Scaramuzzo has been a member of the Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce since 2011, she is the Secretary and Past President of the Sunrise Optimist Club, a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County and serves on several other boards and committees. Ms. Scaramuzzo and her husband Jim live in Freehold with their 17-year-old son, Michael.
Bathena is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Super Buy-Rite Wine & Liquor in Jersey City, New Jersey; and Chief Executive Officer of Buy-Rite Corporation, currently a total of 55 locations. He is on the Sarala Bathena Foundation Board of Directors. Mr. Bathena is an avid sports fan that collects wine and enjoys traveling with his wife and their three young sons.
Buccheri is the Chief Executive Officer of Mid Atlantic Resource Group, responsible for the long term strategic vision of the firm. Buccheri currently serves on the board of The Anabel Foundation and the Mid Atlanitc Resource Group Foundation. Mr. Buccheri and his wife Diane reside in Little Silver with their three children. Active in local activities, participating with and following his children’s pursuits whenever possible and volunteering time for local non-profit organizations.

The Monmouth Museum, a 15,000 square foot cultural center, is one of the largest independent museums in New Jersey. Annually, the Museum presents 18 diverse art exhibitions throughout three galleries, programming in two children’s wings, free events and workshops, and a robust portfolio of programs, including the New Jersey Emerging Artist Series.
