St. Thomas the Apostle (STA) school is a private, Catholic elementary/middle school, grades Pre-K 3 to eighth grade. STA is a Blue Ribbon School and the focus is on educating minds and hearts, through the integration of a challenging curriculum and a firm faith in our Lord and our God.
STA school is a safe environment and is among the top 50 private schools in the nation, ranking in the top 15% in standardized tests. Middle school offers high school math prep courses, student leadership teams, block scheduling, Chromebooks/Kindles/iPads and a Science Lab. All students in all grades, Pre-K through 8, receive digital technology and Spanish. Each teacher from Pre-K 3 to third grade is assisted by an aide in each classroom, which allows the students more individualized learning.
The three-year- and four-year-old programs offer three and five day, half and full day. The Pre-K students learn Spanish, tot technology, music and art.
Our Kindergarten is a full day program: Learning Centers for Language Arts and math, interactive Whiteboards, Wonders Reading & Go Math, 8th Grade Buddy Program, gym, and indoor and outdoor play.
The athletic program offers boys and girls basketball, soccer and baseball for fifth through eighth grades, and track for Kindergarten through eighth grade.
STA has many clubs including drama, art and band.
Before and after care is available for Pre-K 4 through eighth grades.
