The New Jersey statute on expungement was revised in a law signed on Dec. 18, 2019. If someone has been arrested, has a private criminal complaint signed against them in the municipal court or have a criminal record (even if the charges were dismissed or received a Conditional Discharge under NJ Law), past criminal arrests and convictions can be expunged/erased under certain instances.
Are you someone who needs an expungement? Do you have children or know someone that needs an expungement?
Join speakers Kenneth Vercammen and Allan Marain as they discuss the process and address questions concerning it from 7-8 p.m. on March 10 at the North Brunswick Library, 880 Hermann Road, North Brunswick.
Registration is required. Call the library at 732-246-3545 or sign up at northbrunswicklibrary.org
Complimentary informational materials will be provided.
