The Richardson Chamber Players are presenting a program performance in celebration of Beethoven’s 250th birthday on March 8.
The afternoon performance at 3 p.m. features Princeton University performance faculty and talented students in Richardson Auditorium, which is located at Alexander Hall on Princeton University’s campus.
General tickets are $15 and $5 for students.
According to university officials, the performance will have a varied ensemble lineup of instruments—Geoffrey Burleson, piano; Jo-Ann Sternberg, clarinet; Robert Wagner, bassoon; Eric Reed and Jacob Williams ’20, horns; Eric Wyrick and Hana Mundiya ’20, violins; Jessica Thompson, viola; Na-Young Baek, cello; and Jack Hill, bass.
Officials added that the program will include a diverse array of some of Beethoven’s less commonly performed works.
These include a Sextet for Horns and string quartet, a septet, and several piano settings. This afternoon performance will provide a unique and expansive overview of Beethoven’s oeuvre.
