South River Food Bank seeks donations

The South River Food Bank continues to seek donations of non-perishable food items to help meet the increased need for assistance.

The items most needed at this time include canned fruit, canned meat (stew, chili, SPAM), canned soups, canned pasta, canned vegetables, boxed pasta, pasta side mixes, rice side mixes, skillet dinner mixes, peanut butter, cereal, canned milk, and shelf-stable milk.

Donations may be dropped off in the buckets outside of the food bank (98 Jackson St.) during the following times:

Saturday: 1-3 p.m.
Monday: 9:30-11 a.m. and 5-6 p.m.
Tuesday: 9:30-11 a.m. and 5-6 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. to noon

Do not leave donations outside the building at any other time.
