Metuchen mayor urges public to do their part to flatten the curve as positive COVID-19 cases rise

METUCHEN – Metuchen officials reported three new positive COVID-19 cases on March 29, which brings the total positive cases in the borough to seven, according to Mayor Jonathan Busch.

The mayor, in a social media post, said he was informed the cases are two 35-year-old females and a 64-year-old female.

“Unfortunately, over the next couple of weeks, these numbers are likely to grow exponentially,” he said. “Please continue to do your part by following state and local guidelines and directives with respect to social distancing and self-quarantine. It is our borough’s only chance to do our part to flatten the curve.”
