Firm will design upgrades at Aberdeen parks

ABERDEEN – The Township Council has authorized T&M Associates to perform professional engineering services associated with planned improvements at Storyland Park and Ivy Hill Park in Aberdeen Township.

Ivyhill Park is at the intersection of Ivyhill Lane and Idlebrook Lane. Storyland Park is at Woodman Place.

Council members took the action on April 2. Municipal officials said T&M Associates submitted a proposal for the work on Feb. 15 at a cost not to exceed $29,500.

Township Manager Bryan Russell said T&M Associates will submit an environmental report to Monmouth County in conjunction with the township’s request for funding from the county.

T&M Associates will provide engineering design services; a field survey; construction administration and inspection; bidding services; and soil erosion and sediment control certifications, according to the council.
