METUCHEN – Metuchen reports seven new positive COVID-19 cases, a 30% increase in one day, according to Mayor Jonathan Busch in a social media post.
The total number of cases in the borough stand at 30, according to information provided by Middlesex County.
“The staggering statistic demonstrates the serious impact that the pandemic is having on our community,” Busch said. “As hard as it may be to stay apart from family and friends this holiday week, we must celebrate in separate spaces. The more we stay apart now, the sooner we will be able to come back together later.”
