The Center on Addiction, Partnership for Drug Free Kids and SAFE Project will hold an online seminar at 1 p.m. on April 17 about the impact of COVID-19.
Social distancing measures and anxiety about COVID-19 present challenges for families already dealing with substance use and/or mental health issues. The meeting will consist of a panel of representatives from organizations that serve families affected by substance use disorders and/or mental health issues, followed by a question and answer session.
Panelists will include representatives from Not One More Alabama, Utah Support Advocates for Recovery Awareness, Hope Sheds Light and Attack Addiction.
