The Borough of South River is partnering with Central Jersey Urgent Care, My Instadoc and Clarity Labs to bring a drive-thru COVID-19 testing site to South River.
The testing site at Saint Mary Coptic School’s parking lot, 80 David St., will offer both blood draw tests for COVID-19 antibodies and COVID-19 nasal swab testing.
The testing site will be able to conduct up to 200 tests per day and will remain open as long as there is a demand for testing. Priority for COVID-19 nasal swab testing will be given to individuals experiencing symptoms and individuals who have been in close contact with somebody who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Testing will be done on Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment only. Prior to receiving an appointment for testing, you must first schedule and complete a telemedicine appointment. Telemedicine appointments are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Schedule a virtual telemedicine visit at www.clockwisemd.com/hospitals/5345/visits/new. After your telemedicine visit, you will receive a testing appointment time. Arrive at the testing site at your assigned time. Receive your drive-thru blood draw or nasal swab test. Expect a phone call three to four days after the test.
Bring a photo ID and insurance card to the testing site. Horizon NJ Health and United Healthcare Community plans are not accepted at this location; instead go to the Howell location at myinstadochowell.com. No copays or deductibles will be taken. A credit card will be placed on file.
