METUCHEN – The borough has seen no new cases for three days in a row as of May 15, according to Mayor Jonathan Busch.
“Enjoy the great weather this weekend, but please continue to keep social distance,” the mayor said in a social media post. “Your efforts make a difference.”
The Metuchen Downtown Alliance (MDA) is working to raise money to feed frontline first responders, hospital healthcare workers, Metuchen Food Pantry at the First Presbyterian Church on Woodbridge Avenue and in general to address a variety of needs in the community.
Funds raised will support the MDA businesses through the purchase of takeout/delivered food from restaurants and other retail items from non-food service merchants for the frontline workers. For more information visit https://www.downtownmetuchen.org/feeding-the-front-line/.
