Charles Basile of Colts Neck has graduated from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, N.H., with a degree in environmental science: ecosystems.
Jacob Lawrence Pollicove of Freehold has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Albright College, Reading Pa. Jacob studied political science with a minor in history and public administration and policy analysis. He is a graduate of Freehold High School, Freehold Borough.
Centenary University, Hackettstown, recognized 21 students for outstanding contributions to the university and the community during the 2020 Student Leadership Awards ceremony. Derek Elliott of Freehold received the Everett Johnson Award.
Ellen Marie Lee of Morganville was one of 99 students at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisc., who were honored by the UW-Madison Leadership Certificate program for developing their leadership capacity and excelling inside and outside the classroom. The honored School of Pharmacy doctoral students earned a Path of Distinction in Leadership.
Thomas B. Czernik of Freehold graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Mass., Honors College with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics. Thomas has been accepted into Brown University’s PhD Physics Research Fellowship program in Providence, R.I., and will be attending in September.

Named to the dean’s list (minimum 3.5 GPA) were Nadine Eltalkhawi of Marlboro and Bria Robinson of Freehold.
