Metuchen new COVID-19 cases remain low, rolling Memorial Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. on May 25

METUCHEN – Metuchen has 122 total confirmed positive COVID-19 cases as of May 23, which includes two deaths, according to information provided by Middlesex County.

The borough will host and livestream a weekend of social distancing Memorial Day events.
Art contest posters are in downtown business windows and can be viewed on the Metuchen Arts Council website at www.metuchenartscouncil.com.

A rolling Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on May 25 with the fire department, police department, emergency medical services and department of public works. A map of the route is at www.plotaroute.com/route/1114239.

From 11:30 a.m. to noon, the American Legion will hold a ceremony at Memorial Park including the Color Guard, Rifle Salute and flag raising.
