Withum announced the six team members advancing to partner at the firm are: James Berg, CPA; Jennifer Safeer, CPA; Joseph Ro, CPA; Michael Tenny, CPA; Scott Bartolf, CPA, MBA, CGMA; and Scott Reddersen, CPA, MBA.
Effective July 1, they joined Withum’s corporate leadership team, based in various offices across the United States.

James Berg is a part of Withum’s Manufacturing, Distribution & Logistics Services Team, as well as the Automotive Team. He specializes in auditing and accounting engagements, focused on privately-held entities. He assists clients with accounting standards implementation and business advisory matters. He is based in Withum’s East Brunswick office.
Jennifer Safeer serves as Withum’s chief financial officer. She oversees the firm’s finance department with over 25 years of professional accounting experience under her belt. She is based in Withum’s Princeton office.
Joseph Ro supports Withum’s Assurance and Accounting service area specializing in the retail Automotive industry. He focuses on financial statements and tax engagements as well as advising dealers through analysis of internal control and operational efficiencies, due diligence and agreed-upon procedures. He is based in Withum’s East Brunswick office.
Michael Tenny supports Withum’s Financial Services Team, providing audit, accounting and business advisory services to domestic and international clients in both publicly traded and privately held sectors, including venture capital funds, private equity funds, broker-dealers, management companies, registered investment advisors, and emerging growth and technology companies. In addition, Michael has been involved with numerous IPOs, which raised in excess of five billion dollars. The majority of these IPOs were Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) sponsored by the investment community. He is based in Withum’s Whippany office.
Scott Bartolf is a member of Withum’s Theater, Entertainment and the Arts Team where he advises Broadway, Off-Broadway, and touring productions on a variety of domestic and international tax matters. He provides consulting services to theatrical producers and general managers including designing tax-efficient ownership structures, analyzing business agreements and a multitude of other tax issues affecting the industry. He is based in Withum’s New York, NY, office.
Scott Reddersen is a member of Withum’s Tax Services Team, focusing on tax consulting, planning and compliance for high-net-worth families, closely-held businesses, nonprofit organizations and related entities. Scott is based in Withum’s Bethesda, Maryland, office.
