Grant writing workshops available ahead of Middlesex County grant application cycle

The 2021 Middlesex County grant cycle is beginning for arts, history, and historic preservation and capital grants.

Due to the pandemic, Middlesex County’s Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Middlesex County Division of Arts and History have shifted the county’s 2021 grant cycle by one month.

To accommodate our local artists and historians during this time, virtual grant writing workshops will be held from July into the first week of September, to help guide all interested parties through the application process. Full 2021 grant guidelines will be available in July. All current, former, and new grantees are encouraged to attend a virtual grant writing workshop to find out about the recent updates and changes to Middlesex County’s grant program. Attendance at a grant writing workshop will only be mandatory for new applicants, or applicants that did not apply during the county’s last grant cycle (2020). If you cannot attend any of the sessions, contact the Division of Arts and History via email to arrange meeting with one of our grants managers.

The workshops will be held at 11 a.m. July 14, 2 p.m. July 23, 6 p.m. July 29, 11 a.m. Aug. 12, 6 p.m. Aug. 18, 2 p.m. Aug. 27 and 2 p.m. Sept. 3.

To RSVP for one of the virtual grant writing workshops, email [email protected]

Declarations of intent are due by Sept. 8.

Grant applications are due by Oct. 6.
