“State of Emergency: Disasters, Catastrophes, and Goof-ups that Shaped New Jersey History” will be presented virtually from 7-8 p.m. Aug. 19.
From the sabotage that got the United States into World War I to the superstorm that changed the coastline, New Jersey copes. In this sometimes tragic, sometimes hilarious romp through history, photojournalist Jim DelGiudice shares an un-scientific “Top 10 List” of historical incidents and accidents that every New Jersey resident will recall.
Registration is required. Instructions on how to access meeting will be emailed.
