Cheers to Love It or List It
for always keeping our prime interest. Now in its 16th season, HGTV’s renovate vs. relocate gem still has us sold on the hilariously competitive chemistry between designer Hilary Farr and real estate agent David Visentin as they try to win over homeowners. Guess you could say (sorry, David) that we’re loving it!
Cheers to TBS
for knocking it out of the park with their reboot of Wipeout. Not only is ABC’s former obstacle-course competition a total hoot that deserves another shot, but the planned revival has landed the dream team of John Cena and Nailed It standout Nicole Byer as hosts. This is going to be a (big red) ball.
Jeers to Worst Cooks in America and Man V. Food
for messing with our intestines. Between the Food Network staple featuring chefs who don’t know raw from rancid and the Travel Channel hit built on Casey Webb’s (pictured) ability to devour piles of beef, we can barely stomach it!
Jeers to Away
for calling our attention to a huge plot hole. Most of the tech in Netflix’s weepy space drama starring Hilary Swank as the commander of a mission to Mars seems solid, except for the fact that she keeps making cell phone calls … to Earth. We barely get a signal when it’s windy out and aren’t even allowed to text on planes!
