There were elections for seats on the municipal governing body and Board of Education in Princeton on Nov. 3.
The results listed here reflect what has been posted online by the Mercer County Clerk’s Office as of Nov. 3. Mail-in ballots can be received through Nov. 10, and provisional ballots will be tabulated post-Nov. 11.
The results are not final and it is not known when the results will be final.
The results of the election will remain unofficial until they are certified.
Mayor: Mayor Liz Lempert decided not to run for re-election. Democrat Mark Freda ran uncontested, receiving 9,315 votes. There were 70 write-in votes.
Council: Incumbent Democrats David Cohen and Leticia Fraga received 9,038 and 9,045 votes, respectively, uncontested. There were 138 write-in votes.
Board of Education: There are eight people vying for the seats of incumbents Beth Behrend and Michele Tuck-Ponder, who ran for re-election, Jessica Deutsch, who did not. Each seat is for three years.
