WOODBRIDGE – A 21-year-old male has been identified as the victim who perished in a fire in Avenel on Jan. 20.
Chadly Julien was discovered shortly after personnel responded to the fire at 88 S. Inman Ave. in the Avenel section of Woodbridge around 9:12 a.m. that morning, according to updated information provided by Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Robert Hubner of the Woodbridge Police Department.
The cause of death remains undetermined pending the completion of an autopsy by the Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, according to the statement.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is active and is continuing.
