The Exxon convenience store located at Route 1 and Stouts Lane in South Brunswick sold one of three New Jersey Lottery tickets that won $1 million.
One Maryland Lottery ticketholder won the $731.1 million Powerball jackpot from the Jan. 20 drawing, while three New Jersey tickets were sold that matched all five of the five white balls winning the $1 million second-tier prize, according to information released by New Jersey Lottery.
Those New Jersey tickets were purchased at 7-Eleven, N. Haddon Ave., Haddonfield; Wawa, Mantua Park, Woodbury Heights; and Exxon, 4150 Route 1 North and Stouts Lane, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
In addition, six New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize, according to the statement. One of those tickets was purchased with Power Play, multiplying the prize to $150,000.
The third-tier winning tickets from the drawing were sold at Corkscrew Wine & Liquor, Applegarth Road Monroe Township; Shop Rite, Bethel Road, Somers Point; 7-Eleven, Broadway, Fairlawn; Wawa, W. Whitehorse Pike, Berlin; Soda King, 300 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan; and Lacey Liquors, Route 9, Lanoka Harbor.
The winning numbers for the Jan. 20 drawing were: 40, 53, 60, 68 and 69. The Red Power Ball number was 22. The Multiplier number was 03.
The Powerball jackpot resets to $20 million for the next drawing to tonight, Jan. 23, at 10:59 pm.
