George W. Kolb Jr., age 68 of Sayreville, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Born in South Amboy, he had lived in Sayreville for many years. He was the proud owner and operator of George’s Auto & Truck Repair in Parlin for 37 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. He was a 3rd Degree with the Knights of Columbus Council 2061. George was an avid hunter, kayaker, and camper. He was involved with Boy Scouts Troop 68 in Sayreville for 20 years. He loved Nascar and bringing his Camaro to car shows.
He is predeceased by his parents George Sr. & Regina Kolb and his niece Lora Freyer.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, the former Kathy Lee Wilson, his sons Joseph, Robert & Stephen, his grandchildren Lily, Shianne, Aaron, Josephine, Alyssa and Patrick, his grand-dog Ruger, his sisters Michele Tate, Susan Jackson and Patricia Voight, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services were held Monday March 8th at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with an 11:00am Mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. Burial followed at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
