Candidates for the Cranbury Township Committee have earned spots on the November ballot after Democratic and Republican primary elections took place on June 8.
There are two open seats on the ballot in November for the Township Committee. Each seat carries a three-year term.
The general election will take place on Nov. 2.
The primary results listed reflect what has been posted online by the Middlesex County Clerk’s Office as of June 9.
The results of the primary election will remain unofficial until they are certified.
Cranbury Township Committee, two seats available:
In the Democratic primary, Democratic candidate Eman El-Badawi received 296 votes to secure a spot on the ballot come November.
Incumbent Township Committeeman Mike Ferrante, who currently serves as mayor, received 295 votes to earn a place on the November ballot.
There was one write-in vote cast during the Democratic primary.
For the Republican primary, Republican candidate Robert Bolger earned 158 votes and will be on the ballot in November’s general election.
There were 22 write-in votes cast in the Republican primary.
