The Hun School will hold convocation for its 108th academic year on Sept. 13, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of girls and women at Hun.
Renowned businesswoman Alicia Tillman will be the featured speaker and 10 alumnae from the classes of 1972-76 will return to campus to lead the processional, celebrate the occasion, and welcome students to their first day of school.
A 1993 Hun graduate, Tillman has more than 20 years of experience in global marketing and operations in public and private companies, including SAP and American Express. As global chief marketing officer (CMO) at SAP, she led the company to become one of the 20 most valuable brands in the world. In 2020, Forbes named her the 11th Most Influential CMO in the world.
Tillman will also join The Hun School’s Board of Trustees this fall.
Following convocation, the alumnae will attend a celebratory brunch in Russell Hall where the trail blazers will reconnect and share stories of their experiences as the first female students.
In addition to kicking off the 108th academic year, convocation serves as the official launch of Her at Hun: Celebrating 50 Years of Girls and Women at The Hun School of Princeton.
The celebration will run through June 2022 and includes a robust lineup of programming and events, featuring a historical exhibition in Global Commons, alumnae and student programming and events, a Gender Equity Conference, themed speakers’ series and publications, and a Verbatim theatre production.
Watch The Hun School’s Convocation live beginning at 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 13.
