Expecting mother Racquel M. Bruno from East Brunswick came to Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center in preterm labor on Oct. 31 around 3:15 p.m.
Bruno and Raymond Bansemer were scheduled to be married that day but Racquel’s water broke 45 minutes before their scheduled ceremony, which was supposed to be at 4 p.m.
They both wanted to get married before the baby was born, so one of the residents, Nadia Aurora, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, quickly went online to get her license to marry.
Aurora married them on Oct. 31 at the hospital.
The baby girl was born at 4:16 p.m. Nov. 1, weighing 5 pounds, 5 ounces.
