Cheers to Grace and Frankie
for roping in Dolly Parton. The country music icon is reuniting with her 9 to 5 costars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as a guest on the Netflix comedy’s final season. It’s about time!
Cheers to The Rookie
for nabbing Jenna Dewan. As whip-smart Los Angeles firefighter Bailey on the ABC drama, the actress-dancer — who is set to reprise her Supergirl role as Lucy Lane on Superman & Lois — sparks so well with Nathan Fillion’s cop Nolan that we can feel the heat coming off our screens.
Jeers to NBC
for not feathering its nest. It’s cool the network aired the Peacock pilot of Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol, but how about some love for the streamer’s stable of award-worthy comedies? A.P. Bio, Girls5eva (pictured) and Saved by the Bell could use the boost, too.
Jeers to A Million Little Things‘
time jump. Six months may not be huge, but it definitely felt like we missed out on
a ton when the November 3 episode picked up half a year later. Like, how did Maggie (Allison Miller) score hockey hunk Camden (Ryan Hansen, pictured, with Miller)? And why is Eddie (David Giuntoli) driving for a fake Uber?!
