Wawa has opened a new convenience store at 3303 Route 9 North, Freehold Township, just north of Elton-Adelphia Road. The grand opening of the location is the first store in Freehold Township and 20th store to open in Monmouth County, according to a press release.
The new store will not only have all of Wawa’s customer favorites, but also new innovations in convenience including mobile ordering, curbside pickup, delivery options and its newest Catering Online offer where customers can order favorite Wawa foods for their upcoming events at www.wawacatering.com
In addition, the store will feature the latest in Wawa’s fresh, quality and convenient food options, including the new dinner menu offerings, such as the new burger and dinner options now available in all stores chainwide.
German Gonzalez will serve as general manager of the new store, leading a team of approximately 40 associates, all of which are new positions brought to the area through the development of the store, according to the press release.
Furthering its commitment to the expansion of services at the Statesir Cancer Center, CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, has announced the addition of Dr. Rachel Liou, a board-certified, fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon, to its medical staff.
In her new role, Liou will focus on surgery of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, whether for cancerous or benign issues such as goiters. She is also a general surgeon, according to the press release.
“Dr. Liou’s expertise in endocrine surgery will continue to expand CentraState’s specialized cancer services in the region,” said Dr. Alexander Itskovich, medical director of the Statesir Cancer Center. “She brings a very unique surgical skill set to our team, which will directly benefit patients who previously may have had to travel to receive this level of care.”
