Letterkenny

By Rick Gables

Hulu will stream all seven new season episodes of the comedy series, Letterkenny, on Sunday, Dec. 26. This very popular Canadian series takes place in a small town in rural Ontario and focuses around its main characters: Wayne, played by the show’s creator Jared Keeso, his sister Katy, played by Michelle Mylett, and many friends. The humor abounds, thanks to the idiosyncrasies of the town’s residents, who tend to debate the most trivial of matters. Also returning for the new season are key cast members Nathan Dales as Daryl, K. Trevor Wilson as Squirrelly Dan, Dylan Playfair as Reilly, Andrew Herr as Jonesy, and Tyler Johnston as Stewart. They will be joined by Lisa Codrington as Gail, Tyler Hynes as Dierks, Clark Backo as Rosie, and Kaniehtiio Horn as Tanis.

Food Network will premiere its six-episode fast-paced competition series Raid the Fridge on Tuesday, Dec. 28, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Hosted by food writer Dan Ahdoot, the chefs must use their instincts and test their luck in choosing mystery refrigerators based only on the photos, magnets, recipes, and art on their doors. In each episode, four competitors can use only the ingredients from their chosen mystery fridge to create top-notch dishes. Over the course of three rounds, each with a new cooking challenge and a whole new batch of fridges to raid, chefs must impress judges Jordan Andino and Jamika Pessoa with dishes worthy of the grand prize, a fridge full of cash.
