A 2017 BMW sport activity vehicle was reported stolen from the driveway of a home in the Princeton Oaks development overnight between Jan. 9 and 10. The owner had left the key fob in the vehicle, along with a purse and a briefcase.
The windows on three vehicles in the Windsor Ponds development were smashed between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Jan. 17, but only one vehicle was entered and ransacked. Nothing was reported missing from any of the vehicles.
A Staten Island, New York, woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after the car she was driving struck the rear of another sedan that was stopped for a red traffic light on Route 1 at Carnegie Center Boulevard Jan. 19. The woman was taken to the West Windsor Police Department headquarters to be processed and then released, pending a future court date in West Windsor Municipal Court.
A Media, Pennsylvania, woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after her Nissan SUV struck the rear of a Ford SUV, forcing it into the rear of a Toyota sedan on Route 1 and Harrison Street Jan. 22. The Ford and the Toyota were stopped for a red traffic light. All three vehicles had to be towed. The woman was taken to the hospital for evaluation, and then taken to the West Windsor Police Department headquarters to be processed. She was released, pending a future court date in West Windsor Municipal Court.
A Trenton man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Hamilton Township after he was stopped for shoplifting at the TJ Maxx store at 210 Nassau Park Blvd. Jan. 26. The suspects were observed going into the Burlington Coat Factory store nearby. Police, who were conducting an investigation at the Burlington Coat Factory store, intercepted the suspects and discovered that one of them was wanted on a warrant. TJ Maxx recovered its merchandise and declined to press charges. The man was taken to the West Windsor Police Department to be processed and then released, pending a future date in Hamilton Township Municipal Court.
