Abigail Vernon of Allentown, a student at DeSales University, Center Valley, Pa., played Maria Rainer in the university’s Act 1 production of “The Sound of Music” from April 27 through May 8. Act 1 is the producing arm of the DeSales University Division of Performing Arts.
