A Millstone resident has been charged with driving while intoxicated following a head-on collision on Trenton Road, according to the West Windsor Police Department.
The crash was reported at 10:32 p.m. on June 17. The Millstone resident, in a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck, was traveling south on Old Trenton Road, when he allegedly crossed the centerline and struck a Genesis G70 sedan, driven by a Manalapan resident, in the northbound lane, police said.
The driver of the pickup truck and his passenger, a Millstone resident, as well as the driver of the sedan, were trapped in the wreckage, police said.
First responders from the West Windsor Division of Fire and Emergency Services, the Princeton Junction Fire Company and the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company used power tools to cut the drivers and the passenger out of the vehicles, police said.
The two drivers and the passenger were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the pickup truck was also charged with reckless driving, having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and two counts of vehicular assault, police said.
