A Hamilton Township man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly concealing a Lego set in a reusable shopping bag and leaving the store without paying for it at Target on Nassau Park Boulevard July 28. He was processed and released.
Smash-and-grab thieves allegedly smashed car windows and stole purses and a Coach backpack from four vehicles that were parked at the Waterworks parking lot at West Windsor Community Park July 24. Another car parked at Mercer County Park also was entered and a purse was stolen around the same time.
A Trenton woman was charged with shoplifting and hindering apprehension after she allegedly filled a garbage bag with four sets of new bedding and left the At Home store on Nassau Park Boulevard without paying for them July 19. She also allegedly provided a false name to police, but an investigation revealed her true identity. She was found to have an outstanding warrant out of the Mercer County Sheriff’s, West Windsor, Hamilton and Ewing townships. She was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.
A Bronx, N.Y. man was charged with shoplifting and hindering apprehension at Target on Nassau Park Boulevard July 13. He allegedly filled a shopping cart and a backpack with items valued at combined $626 and tried to leave the store without paying for them. He allegedly provided officers with a false name, but they were able to determine his true identity. He was processed and released.
A Trenton man was charged with shoplifting after he allegedly failed to pay for an air conditioner in his shopping cart valued at $319 at Target on Nassau Park Boulevard July 12. He used the self-checkout register to pay for several items, but allegedly failed to pay for the air conditioner. He was processed and released.
A Trenton man was arrested on outstanding warrants from Ewing and Hamilton townships and Trenton after he was stopped by police for an alleged improper lane change on Route 1 on July 1. He was processed and turned over to the Hamilton Township Police Department on the outstanding warrant.
